Every book has its own extra, and it lives inside the book

At the back of each novel there is a link to join my newsletter. It is a different link in every book, which is how each one knows what to send you — and it is the only way to get it. What arrives depends on the story. Some books come with a recipe book. The Truth Between Us comes with the song that runs through the whole novel, which I made myself.

Much of it gives things away, which is the other reason it is not on this page. Finish the book first, then turn to the last page — that is where to go.

Natasha Karis is an Irish author based in Cork. She writes contemporary, emotional women's fiction that dives into heavy subjects — grief, abuse, addiction — but leaves the reader with hope.

Long bio — 110 words

Natasha Karis lives in Cork, Ireland. Most of her stories are set in the fictional town of Knockfarraig, inspired by Youghal, where she spent many a summer growing up and still visits at every opportunity. Landmarks of Cork appear throughout her novels — the Grand Parade Library features strongly in the novella The Initiation Of Alayne Adams, and the city's graffiti art backdrops a pivotal scene in The Initiates. She writes contemporary, emotional women's fiction that dives into heavy subjects like grief, abuse and addiction but ultimately leaves the reader with hope. She shares her writing life with three children, a cocker spaniel and her husband.
